About The Artist

​Based in Long Island, New York, with deep roots in Manhattan's creative community, Skylar Jade Spitaleri is a proud Puerto Rican and Italian artist whose journey with art began in childhood. From an early age, painting became a source of solace and self-expression—a passion that flourished into a lifelong pursuit.

Skylar earned her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology and later completed her Master’s in Art Education at New York University. Her academic journey solidified her technical skills while nurturing her desire to inspire others through the transformative power of creativity.

​Skylar embraces her identity and channels her diverse experiences into her work, weaving themes of love, resilience, and authenticity. Having faced anxiety and depression, she uses art as a powerful tool for healing and connection. She channels these experiences into her work, creating pieces that resonate deeply with her audience. Through her art, she offers a sense of connection, reminding others they are never alone in their struggles.
